A report had been circulated by the Clerk. There had been an attempted break in at
the toilets which required the lock changing.

A member of the public stated that new information had been produced and
questioned whether the Parish Council would continue to support the South
Copeland Community Partnership (GDF)

None required The Clerk reported that the pay award had been agreed and would

The resolved to accept final budget for the financial year 2023/24 to the council.

95/22 Village Matters
95/22.1 Silecroft beach car park, toilets and mobile unit
Cllr Rand reported that there had been an attempted break in and the lock had been
changed. Cars continue to come down and park across from each other. No police
presence seen
Work to complete the painting of the inside of the toilets de to commence w/c 7
November 2022
95/22.2 Silecroft beach proposed new café
Still awaiting a response from Copeland BC. A meeting has been arranged with Eric
Barker for 8 November 2022 to discuss lack of progress.
95/22.3 Play inspection report
Clerk reported that Prison has been contacted re remedial works. Reseeding to be
undertaken in the spring.
95/22.4 GDF
Resolved to undertake a questionnaire amongst residents re the GDF. Clerk to
obtain current Electoral Roll.
95/22.5 30mph Speed Limit – Silecroft

Resolved to be located outside Silecroft Village Hall. Clerk to order defib and contact
