The Chair was authorized to sign the minutes as a true record of the meeting

166/21 The Chair proposed that agenda item 11.2 Silecroft Beach café be brought
forward on the Agenda so that the representative from Copeland Borough
Council could give an update. Proposal seconded by Cllr Wilson
167/21 Silecroft Beach Café
The CBC representative reported that the approved contractor had not
complied with requests to mitigate the risk and were unable to give a start date.
Copeland BC were pursuing other options to ensure the build took place. The
grant money was ringfenced and the budget could be increased if required.
The art exhibition is still planned to be launched in September. The architect
was still committed to the project.
The CBC representative was thank for his report and left the meeting.

169/21.1 Church car park
The Clerk reported that a number of contractors had expressed interest in the
project. It was agreed that the tarmac would be extended to the church gate
with echo blocks/grass creep for the remainder of the car park. The Clerk to
contact LDNP planning for guidance.
170/21 Public Participation
Representatives from Kirksanton Village Hall gave details of a planned event om
14 May which would require the use of the Village Green. The Clerk explained
the restrictions re parking on the Village Green.

Removal of existing conservatory and dormer projections, and the construction
of a a full width dormer projection with stone external walls, new external flat
roof canopy and oak post with stone boundary wall, plus the installation of a
new roof light to the existing stairwell and Juliette balcony doors & railing to
rear elevation

Suspected breaches of the planning consent have been reported to the
enforcement officer for investigation. It was resolved to contact Natural

Cllr Rand reported that the sign to the entrance of the car park had been
