PM1/15: ELECTION OF CLERK
It was RESOLVED that Mrs Lesley Cooper, Low Marshside, Underhill nr
Millom Cumbria be elected as clerk for the forthcoming year
PM2/15: MINUTES
It was RESOLVED that the minutes from the Annual Parish Meeting held
on 7th May 2014 be signed as a true and correct record.
PM3/15: CHAIRMAN’S REPORT
The Chairman presented an oral report of the work of the Parish Council
over the past 12 months. He stated that progress had been made with
the Beach Cafe and toilets at Silecroft over the last 12 months. The play
areas were an on-going concern and a meeting had been held and a
decision as to which equipment needed to be removed and replaced.
There was some suggestion of replacing some of the equipment with
fitness equipment and this was being investigated. A new lawn mower
had also been purchased for the council. He also expressed thanks to all
the members of council for their contribution over the past year.
PM4/15: ACCOUNTS
The Clerk presented on oral report of the Accounts of the Parish Council
for 2014/15. It was RESOLVED that the accounts for the year of the Parish
Council were a true and correct record.
PM5/15: GUEST SPEAKER AND OPEN DISCUSSION
There was no guest speaker as North West Ambulance had to withdraw
at the last minute due to operational issues.
